I would like to share with you a recent interview I did with Debbe Magnusen, founder of Project Cuddle. Project Cuddle is a non-profit organization that offers safe and legal alternatives to baby abandonment. They offer help and resources for pregnant girls and women who find themselves scared and feel that they have no hope or that anyone can help them through this frightening time in their lives. This month were going to change things up a bit. If you’ve read my past articles you know that I’ve had the opportunity to sit down and chat one on one with some truly amazing leaders in the Spirituality and Wellness movement. This month I’d like to share an event I recently attended during which I had access to Hay House’s best selling authors in an amazing weekend of learning, healing and connecting at the the I Can Do It event.
I think that if men and women were more comfortable seeing self-care and intimacy as 2 sides of the same coin, you can’t have one without the other, relationships would be much more healthy. So if we take better care of ourselves, we’re actually more available for other people.
The God voice said to me: “You are looking outside of yourself for the brass ring, for success, for money, for all of it…. and what you’re missing is that You are the brass ring. What you seek is within, always has been, always will be, the gifts that you are looking for are yours and are yours already.”
It really comes down to, the more I get clear about who I am and what I care about, I just charge. It’s like this is it, it’s my life. At the end of the day, I can theorize and philosophize about what happens after this life, but you know what, I’m here. I’m going to give it a go and go as consciously and aware and as powerfully and as potent as I can.
